Kingvean Stud was set idyllically in the Cotswolds 'Vale of Evesham'.

The Studs' 57 acres, on the renowned 'Blossom route', enjoys superb views of Bredon Hill to the south and the Malverns to the west.

The stud has been breeding Childrens Riding Ponies for 20 years,

Our policy of breeding Show or Hunter type pony youngstock has been very successful with many quality ponies produced for all spheres, from leadrein and first ridden, through to 15 hh Hunter ponies.

The Stud stood four pony Stallions, two of which were owned by the Stud and two guest Stallions. The Stallions, and indeed our Broodmares, were chosen not only for their breeding and pony qualities, but also their temperament. We were very conscious of the fact that we were breeding "childrens" ponies and their progeny must be suitable to be ridden and handled by children.

Apart from breeding from our own broodmares, our Stallions stood at public stud, with many visiting mares throughout the season.

The Stud was also well known as a "Show Production Yard" and we produced many ponies, both our own and clients, for "in-hand" showing to County Standard.
